App Store Connect Privacy URL

App Store Connect requires a privacy policy URL in App Information before submission. Apple reviewers compare this link to your Privacy Nutrition Labels and, where applicable, Privacy Manifest declarations.

The URL must be publicly accessible and describe data collection practices for the app version under review.

Submission checklist

  • Paste the hosted privacy policy URL in App Information — not the marketing site homepage.
  • Ensure Privacy Nutrition Labels match policy categories (contact info, identifiers, usage data, etc.).
  • Update PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy when adding SDKs; mirror changes in the policy.
  • Re-verify the URL after major releases that change analytics or account features.

When Apple rejects for privacy

Common issues: broken policy links, mismatched labels, missing contact method, or policies that do not mention third-party SDKs. Fix the hosted policy text while keeping the same URL when possible.
